Cupping notes: Pear, Green Grape, Cantalope
In villages within the Ywangan township, in the Southern Shan State of Myanmar, farmers grow coffee on 1-3 acres of land. Mixed with the Catuai, S795, Caturra and Typica are other tree crops and the family gardens. This washed coffee is gathered from more than 20 villages from 1100-1500 masl and taken to a wet mill in Pyin Oo Lwin that was designed for processing specialty coffee. Fermentation is closely monitored for temperature and pH and the coffee undergoes numerous sorts and is cupped by a quality control team that which includes certified Q-Graders.
